Well-Edu CIC is looking for qualified teachers, who are passionate about children's wellbeing, to join a quickly expanding team!

We are not your 'usual' tuition service. Well-Edu is led by an experienced teacher and ex-OFSTED inspector to super-charge both the child's emotional and academic development, shaking up the current climate in schools for both staff and students.

Our recruitment aim is to find the best teachers that are looking to break free of the norm to provide interactive and fun lessons with strategies embedded to promote a love of learning and techniques to promote positive mental health in the classroom and beyond.

The Role

Prepare and deliver interactive lessons to students with clear development objectives whilst embedding Well-Edu techniques for wellbeing into every lesson. Assess the needs of the students and ensure their learning needs are supported to advance their educational and emotional skill set. Create lesson reports to keep a record of progress and to update parents/carers about the student's learning and development. Adhere to all policies lined out by Well-Edu including Data Protection, Safeguarding, and reporting safeguarding concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Lead. Develop strong professional relationships with students, parents/carers and the Well-Edu team. Attend training which aims to train tutors to better support students, refresh knowledge in topics such as Safeguarding and to develop individual skill sets. We are a non-profit - Community Interest Company - on a mission to improve wellbeing in education. Meeting other business needs as mutually agreeable.

What we are looking for

Qualified teachers with experience and knowledge of the curriculum in their subject and age specialism A genuine love of education, passion for teaching and excellent communication skills Reliable tutors with an enthusiastic and interactive teaching style Good technical skills to use online software, emails etc An excellent understanding of safeguarding and ability to build rapport with children and their families A willingness to travel locally Access to the internet

Are you a qualified teacher with the right to work in the UK? Do you have a QTS certificate? Are you able to provide, or apply for, a DBS check and references? Are you committed to improving wellbeing in education and willing to apply the Well-Edu ethos and strategies to every single lesson? Can you manage your own schedule and maintain quality and reliability of provision?

Salary: 26.00 per hour plus benefits including pension scheme and holiday pay.
