Tutors are responsible for the delivery of teaching and learning in sessions, to assess student progress and guide them to maximise their potential.
We are seeking a dedicated and patient tutor to support adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in achieving their learning goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in inclusive education, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs. This role involves creating a positive, empowering learning environment that promotes independence and confidence.

Salary: 15.37 per hour/26,637.44 per annum
Hours: 37
Weeks: 40
Holiday: 6.84

Requirements:

Experience of working in further education and/or SEND environment Experience of teaching small groups of students, or other relevant groups including direction of support staff Level 2 qualification in Maths and English (i.e. GCSE grade A-C) or equivalent qualification
Degree, HND, Foundation Degree or nationally recognised professional qualification relevant to skills sought in advertisement
Have or be willing to work towards a Level 5 Teaching qualification. Teacher Training must be completed within 2 years of commencing employment.
