Tutor requirements PRG Training and Recruitment Centre recommends nominated tutors for these qualifications to meet the following: o
Hold a relevant subject area qualification, which could include any of the following: o Level 2 Functional Skills Qualification in Mathematics o
GCSE Maths (grade C or above) o A-Level Maths, or above o
Hold [or be working towards] a recognised teaching qualification [or experience], which could include any of the following: o
Level 3 PTLLS, or above o Level 3 Award in Education and Training, or above o
Diploma or Certificate in Education o Bachelors or Masters Degree in Education o
City and Guilds Teachers Certificate or equivalent o Level 3 or 4 NVQ in training and/or development o proof of at least 30 hours of training in any subject o maintain appropriate continued professional development for the subject area
