We are now looking for a skilled and passionate Tutor to teach young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN), delivering Nail Technology and ideally wider Hair and Beauty qualifications. This is a flexible, part-time role between 1 and 3 days per week depending on learner numbers, based in Redruth during term time.

The Role
As a CN4C Tutor, you'll deliver inclusive, trauma-informed, and practical sessions for learners aged 16-25, supporting them to gain skills, confidence and qualifications in Nail Technology and potentially broader Hair and Beauty pathways.
You will adapt sessions to meet a range of abilities and additional needs, enabling each learner to thrive in a non-judgemental, supportive learning environment.
Depending on learner sign-up, the role will be between 1-3 days per week.
About You
We're looking for someone who is passionate about education, creativity and learner progression. To succeed in this role, you will need:
A recognised teaching qualification (suitable for delivering up to Level 2)
Experience teaching or working with young people with SEN
Knowledge and experience of Nail Technology, ideally with Hair and Beauty
Ability to plan and deliver engaging, accessible, and inclusive sessions
A learner-led approach, shaped by understanding and patience
Good digital literacy and record-keeping skills
A sound understanding of safeguarding and trauma-informed practice
A minimum of Level 2 English and Maths qualifications
Desirable:
Two years' experience in a similar teaching or training role
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Experience supporting learners with EHCPs
Experience delivering practical accredited courses
This is a fixed-term, term-time only role starting in September 2025. The number of delivery days will be confirmed based on the final learner group.
Placement in this role will be subject to two satisfactory references and an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
