PLEASE NOTE: This role is approx. 1 hour per week. Additional hours may not be available. This is a zero-hour contract, and tutoring takes place in the student's home unless stated otherwise.

The Role

We are currently hiring

a tutor

to support a student with

English (reading/writing etc.)

:

Location:

RM12- student's home

Student:

Primary-aged student (Year 3) who requires in-person sessions only

Pay:

20 per hour (paid on a self-employed basis)

Commitment:

1 hour per week

Essential Requirements

Please read carefully- applicants

must

meet the following essential criteria:

Live within

30-40 minutes of RM12

(e.g. Barking, Brentwood, Dagenham, etc.) Experience working with children or young people (e.g. as a tutor, teacher, teaching assistant, nanny, childcare practitioner, etc.) MUST be able to prove that you have the right to work in the UK on a self-employed basis Access to a

printer-

while we provide most materials, tutors are occasionally expected to print resources Educated to

degree level

(desirable but not essential)*

Responsibilities

Provide personalised one-to-one tutoring sessions in the student's home, with their specific learning goals/needs in mind. Build strong rapport and maintain positive relationships with students. Plan fun, engaging activities and lessons that encourage active participation. Monitor the student's progress and adapt your approach as needed to support their development. Encourage, motivate, and help students grow confidence in their abilities. Foster a genuine passion for learning
