Job Description

Based in Greater Manchester, New Generation Training and Consultancy (NGTC) has been trading since 2008 predominately delivering AEB, ESF and full-cost recovery programmes.

Providing training within the security and events sectors, we are regularly attending major sporting and music events at venues, as we partner with some of the biggest employers in the country.

Our core curriculum intent is centred on the endpoint of progressing our learners into sustainable employment within the security and night-time economy. Our main qualifications include Spectator Safety and Door Supervisor, but we also deliver a range of education and training qualifications starting at level 3 up to level 5.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE



This role is pivotal in delivering comprehensive training in Spectator Safety, targeting learners aiming to achieve qualifications at Level 3 or above. The facilitator will be responsible for managing and guiding learners through the entire training program, ensuring the highest standards of learning and safety are upheld.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



Learner Management:

Handle a caseload of learners, guiding them towards successful completion of Spectator Safety training programs at Level 3 or above. This includes monitoring their progress, providing necessary support, and conducting evaluations to ensure learning objectives are met.

Training Delivery:

Conduct training sessions both remotely (online) and in-person, adapting to group and individual learning needs. This involves creating engaging, informative, and interactive learning environments that cater to a diverse range of learning styles.

Diary Management:

Efficiently manage personal schedule to ensure timely and effective delivery of training sessions and learner reviews.

Documentation:

Organise and maintain thorough records of learners' progress, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date for quality assurance purposes.

Learner Support:

Offer continuous support, advice, and motivation to learners, addressing any barriers to learning and adapting training methods to meet individual needs and learning styles.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA FOR CANDIDATES:



Must hold a recognised Assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA, or TAQA). Must possess a recognised Teaching Award (PTLLS, AET, or equivalent). Demonstrated experience in delivering full qualifications in Spectator Safety Level 3 or above. Must hold a Level 3 or above certificate in Spectator Safety. Solid occupational experience as a Ground Safety Supervisor or Grounds Safety Officer. Must possess a valid driving license and have access to a vehicle, with flexibility in travel and working hours.

Annual Leave



NGTC offers a generous annual leave entitlement to support staff, commencing with 20 days plus 8 statutory days (Public & bank Holidays) and NGTC closure days.

Hours of Work



The post holder will be expected to work such hours as are necessary for the proper performance of their duties and responsibilities, normally 37.5 hours per week.

Place of work



The principal place of work will be at our head office based at in Hindley, Wigan (WN2 3AF). However, the post holder will be required to work on either a temporary or an indefinite basis at any premises at which we may provide services.

Pay: 29,000.00 per year
