NOW RECRUITING: EVENT SAFETY STEWARDS WITH LEVEL 2 SPECTATOR SAFETY QUALIFICATION - LONDON & SURROUNDING AREAS

Achilleus Security is now recruiting part-time casual Event Safety Stewards who already hold a Level 2 or 3 Spectator Safety Qualification, to join our professional and expanding team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work at a wide variety of high-profile football matches, stadium events, concerts, festivals and live venues across Greater London, with additional assignments available throughout Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Ipswich, and the Home Counties.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking qualified, committed, and professional individuals to represent our company and ensure safety, security, and customer service excellence at major public events.

Essential Requirements - YOU MUST HAVE ALL OF THESE:

A Level 2 or 3 Spectator Safety Qualification Over 18 Years of age Have a good command of the English Language both written and verbal Willing to work as part of a growing team. Prepared to develop their skills for the role via Continued Professional Development with our support Applicants Must Be Able To Provide: photographic proof of ID proof of right to work within the UK recent and relevant proofs of address Able to provide a 5-year minimum checkable history - Vital Requirement! Weekend and evening shift availability

PAY RATES (Inclusive of Holiday Pay) - Effective from 1st April 2025

For Event Safety Stewards with Spectator Safety Qualification:

General Event / Football Stewards: 14.57 - 15.69 per hour
All shifts guarantee a minimum of 5 hours' pay, even if the assignment finishes earlier.

We also offer:

Monthly PAYE pay. Wagestream access - withdraw up to 50% of earned pay within 10 days of working No self-employed/UTR roles accepted (due to HMRC rules)

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a key member of our Event Security Team, your duties will include:

General Customer Services.

Monitoring access and egress points.

Providing Information and direction.

Ensuring crowd safety plans and procedures are adhered to.

Reporting any suspicious behaviour.

Monitoring Crowds for distress, overcrowding and disorder.

Ingress control - ticket validation, accreditation checks, and queries.

Egress control - Observing safe egress from areas, including emergency evacuation.

Reporting and recording details of accidents, irregularities, near misses, or incidents.

Responding to accidents, and incidents as directed.

Maintaining safe working environments, and health and safety management.

OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS
