Tv And Video Editor

Gateshead, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

We don't do boring job ads.

We make ads that stand out and get noticed, so we thought this one should do the same.

Because, let's face it - you don't want to be stuck in a job making boring videos, do you?

Neither do we, and our clients definitely don't want that either.

We're Media Partnership, based in Gateshead, and we're looking for a TV and Video Editor to join our team. We work across local and national TV campaigns, cinema ads and branded content for a wide range of clients. The work is varied, fast paced and, importantly, it gets seen by real audiences.

We're a collaborative team and we really mean that. Everyone's opinion is valued and ideas are encouraged, whether they come from a producer, editor or creative. The focus is always on making the best work possible and going home feeling proud of it, especially when you spot something you worked on while watching TV or sitting in the cinema.

The role is based at our Gateshead office, just a five minute walk from the Gateshead / Newcastle Quayside.

What you'll be doing

You'll be editing TV campaigns from cut through to delivery, alongside branded and corporate content for web and social. You'll be preparing ads for broadcast, working through feedback with producers and creatives, and making sure everything is delivered cleanly and on time.

We also work with remote editors, so keeping projects organised, timelines tidy and assets in the right place is a big part of the role. If you like structure, detail and knowing where everything lives, you'll be comfortable here.

What we're looking for

You should be comfortable editing in a commercial environment and confident in your ability to deliver work that holds up under scrutiny.

We work predominantly within the Adobe ecosystem, mainly Premiere Pro and After Effects, so solid experience with those tools is important. You'll need to understand how to colour grade log footage within Premiere and how to adapt edits for TV, web and social platforms.

After Effects experience for things like lower thirds, supers or simple motion graphics is a bonus, but it's not essential.

You should also be comfortable speaking to clients when needed and confident talking through your work, even though day-to-day client liaison will be handled by the wider team.

Clear communication really matters, as does a good eye for detail. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and keeps things organised.
