Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced

Senior Practitioner

to lead our

Tweenie Room

(children aged 2-3 years). This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate early years professional to step into a leadership role within a supportive and forward-thinking setting.

Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day running of the Tweenie Room, ensuring high standards of care and education Plan, deliver and assess age-appropriate activities in line with Realising the Ambition Support children's individual needs, fostering their physical, emotional, and social development Guide, mentor and supervise room staff, including apprentices and support workers Ensure a safe, stimulating and welcoming environment for children and their families Build strong relationships with parents/carers and provide regular feedback on their child's progress Maintain accurate records and contribute to safeguarding procedures and policies

Requirements

Level 3 or above qualification in Childcare/Early Years (e.g. SVQ Level 3 or above, HNC, PDA) Preferred but not essential, prior experience of being in a senior role Proven experience working with children aged 2-3 years Strong knowledge of Realising the Ambition curriculum Excellent communication and leadership skills A nurturing, creative, and proactive approach A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
