Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in using both hand and power tools. This role involves performing tyre installations, repairs, and maintenance while providing exceptional customer service. The Tire Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Duties

Perform tyre installations, repairs, and rotations on various vehicles. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to carry out tasks. Conduct thorough inspections of tyres to assess wear and damage. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored. Assist customers with enquiries regarding tyre products and services, providing knowledgeable recommendations. Lift heavy tyres and equipment as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Keep accurate records of services performed and maintain inventory of tyre stock.

Requirements

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive servicing or tyre fitting preferred. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for the role. Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring all work is completed to high standards. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
