Tyre Technician

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tyre Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Tyre Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of tyres on various vehicles, ensuring safety and optimal performance for our customers.

Duties

Perform tyre installations, repairs, and rotations on a variety of vehicles. Inspect tyres for wear and damage, providing recommendations for replacement when necessary. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks accurately and safely. Conduct wheel alignments and balancing to ensure proper vehicle handling. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist with heavy lifting of tyres and equipment as required. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns professionally.

Requirements

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in tyre fitting or automotive repair preferred. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 30 kg) consistently throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated. A valid driving licence is advantageous but not essential.

Pay: 28,000.00-32,000.00 per year
