Overview

As a Tyre Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of tyres on various vehicles, ensuring safety and performance standards are met.

Duties

Inspect and assess tyre condition to determine the need for repair or replacement. Remove and install tyres using appropriate hand tools and power tools. Balance tyres to ensure smooth operation and extend tyre life. Perform routine maintenance on tyre equipment to ensure optimal performance. Assist customers with tyre-related inquiries and provide recommendations based on their needs. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of automotive systems. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to tyre installation and repair. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling tyres and equipment. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
