Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of tyres on a variety of vehicles. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Tire Technician will ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Duties

Perform tyre installations, repairs, and rotations on various vehicles. Conduct thorough inspections of tyres to assess wear and damage. Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks. Maintain a clean and organised workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Assist customers with tyre-related inquiries and provide recommendations based on their needs. Handle heavy lifting of tyres and equipment as required. Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used.

Skills

Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools related to tyre servicing. Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of vehicle systems. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. A proactive attitude towards learning new techniques and technologies in tyre maintenance.
