Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tire Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and replacing tyres on a variety of vehicles, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Responsibilities

Remove and replace tyres using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment. Inspect tyres for damage, uneven wear, or defects and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements. Balance tyres to ensure smooth operation and minimise vibrations during driving. Perform wheel alignments as required to optimise vehicle handling and tyre longevity. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist customers with tyre-related enquiries and provide professional advice on tyre maintenance. Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.

Experience

Prior experience in automotive repair or tyre fitting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Mechanical knowledge is advantageous to understand vehicle systems and tyre components. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and tyre fitting equipment is desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling tyres and wheels is essential. A proactive attitude with excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work are highly valued. Pay: 14.00-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
