Tire Technician

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be comfortable working with various tools and equipment. As a Tire Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and performance of our customers' vehicles by providing high-quality tyre services.

Duties

Inspect, repair, and replace tyres on a variety of vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to perform tyre installations and repairs. Conduct routine maintenance checks and provide recommendations for tyre care to customers. Assist in heavy lifting of tyres and related equipment as required. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Keep accurate records of services performed and communicate effectively with team members and customers.

Experience

Proven mechanical knowledge, particularly in relation to tyre fitting and repair techniques. Familiarity with using power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently. Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily tasks. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

Pay: 27,000.00-27,500.00 per year
