Tire Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tire Technician who can work along side a team and independently to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of all types of tyres and the ability to work with hand and power tools effectively. As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing tyres, ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service, and contributing to a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

Inspect, repair, and replace tyres on various vehicles, ensuring proper installation and alignment. Perform routine maintenance checks on tyre pressure, tread depth, and overall condition. Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to carry out repairs. Assist customers in selecting the appropriate tyres for their vehicles based on their needs. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety standards at all times. Handle heavy lifting of tyres and equipment as required during the service process. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.

Requirements

Strong mechanical knowledge related to tyre maintenance and repair. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed (up to 50 kg). Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards clients. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. A valid driving licence
