Tire Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for automotive care. As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of tyres on various vehicles. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Perform tyre installations and removals using appropriate hand tools and power tools. Inspect tyres for wear and damage, ensuring safety standards are met. Repair punctures and other tyre-related issues as needed. Balance wheels to ensure optimal performance and longevity of tyres. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and offering advice on tyre maintenance. Assist with inventory management of tyres and related equipment.

Experience

Previous experience in tyre fitting or automotive repair is preferred but not essential. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively. Capability to perform heavy lifting as required during tyre installations and removals. A willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to tyre maintenance and repair.

Pay: 500.00-600.00 per week
