Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tyre Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be comfortable working with hand and power tools. This role involves the installation, repair, and maintenance of tyres on various vehicles, ensuring safety and performance standards are met.

Duties

Inspect tyres for wear and damage, providing recommendations for repair or replacement. Remove and install tyres using appropriate hand tools and power tools. Balance tyres to ensure smooth operation of vehicles. Perform routine maintenance on tyre equipment to ensure optimal functionality. Assist customers with tyre-related inquiries and provide exceptional service. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Conduct heavy lifting as required when handling tyres and related equipment.

Requirements

Proven mechanical knowledge is essential for this role. Experience using hand tools and power tools effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting, as the role involves handling large tyres. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
