We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in the use of hand and power tools. This role involves performing tyre installations, repairs, and maintenance while providing excellent customer service. The successful candidate will be comfortable with heavy lifting and working in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Inspect, install, and repair tyres on various vehicles, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for tyre changes and repairs. Conduct routine maintenance checks on tyres and related equipment to ensure optimal performance. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding tyre services. Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency. Assist in heavy lifting tasks related to tyre handling and storage as required.

Qualifications

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive or tyre services preferred. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Strong maintenance skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks, as the role may require moving tyres weighing up to 30 kg or more. A valid driving licence is essential.
