Role Overview:

We're seeking an experienced, visually weighted UI/UX Designer to join our in-house Creative Department. The role involves designing clean, intuitive, and visually rich interfaces for our games and in-game touchpoints. Working closely with the development team to provide them with all the assets and information they need to create a successful and engaging interface to our products. What we're looking for:

UI/UX Design:

From mapping user flows, prototyping and wireframing to creating pixel-perfect engaging and intuitive designs ready for hand-over. A balance of creative vision and user-focused practicality.

Visual Artistry:

Crafting visual assets and animations in-keeping with the requirements of the game or interface.

Motion Graphics:

Designing transitions, micro-interactions and delightful moments, and being responsible for handing these to developers in a clear and concise manner for final production.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with other members of the Creative Team to ensure collaboration and consistency and quality of output is high. Work closely with developers to understand technical constraints, issues, platform capabilities and hand over designs in a timely and consistent manner, anticipating any requirements.

Skills and Experience:

The 'how' we fulfil our role is very important and therefore the following skills required for this role have been identified as;

Creativity:

A flair for artistry and ability to create visual assets to a very high standard. Game design experience is a nice-to-have, but not essential.

Technical Proficiency:

Experienced in the use of design software, particularly Figma and the Adobe suite. Proficiency using motion graphics software such as Rive and/or After Effects. At minimum a basic understanding of front-end code such as HTML and CSS, though proficiency a real advantage.

Understanding of UX:

A solid understanding of UX principles, how users tick and the empathy and ability to apply this knowledge to designs. Any user research experience is a bonus.

Collaboration:

Must be experienced in working closely with developers and members of the wider cross-functional team.

Flexibility:

Willing and keen toutilise design skills in other areas of the business as required, such as the website and marketing collateral.

Self-Motivated:

Proactive and able to manage own time, set priorities, and consistently move projects forward.

Communication:

Clear personable communicator with the ability to communicate at all levels.

Trustworthy:

Builds and maintains the trust of others, only makes commitments that can be met.
