Overview


We are seeking a talented and innovative UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic product development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging, user-centred digital experiences across various platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of user research, interaction design, and front-end development principles, with proficiency in a wide range of design and development tools. The ideal applicant will have a passion for crafting intuitive interfaces that enhance usability and visual appeal, contributing to the overall success of our digital products.

Responsibilities



Conduct user research and gather requirements to inform the design process, ensuring solutions meet user needs and business objectives. Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, or Zeplin. Create responsive web designs that deliver seamless experiences across devices using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, SCSS, and other front-end technologies. Collaborate with product managers and developers to translate design concepts into functional interfaces while adhering to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes. Apply data visualisation techniques and utilise analytics tools like Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics to evaluate user behaviour and optimise designs accordingly. Implement interaction design principles to enhance usability and engagement within digital products. Maintain consistency through the application of design patterns and information architecture best practices. Support front-end development efforts by providing detailed specifications and assets for implementation. Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate designs before deployment and iterate based on feedback. Stay current with industry trends in UX/UI design, web technologies such as JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular), APIs, AWS cloud services, and emerging tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Telerik.

Qualifications



Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Balsamiq, InVision or Zeplin. Solid understanding of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS (Less/SCSS), JavaScript (React, Redux), Bootstrap and responsive web design principles. Experience with user research methods and analysis skills to inform design decisions effectively. Familiarity with usability testing processes including user acceptance testing (UAT). Knowledge of information architecture and requirements gathering techniques aligned with business needs. Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams using project management tools such as Jira or SharePoint. Experience with analytics platforms like Google Analytics or Omniture for data-driven optimisation. Strong visual skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Adobe Dreamweaver, InDesign or similar tools.
