UK Communications Manager



External Communications:



Support the development and implementation of media relations strategy targeting key publications including Property Week, EG, CoStar and Green Street News, plus national and broadcast

Handle wide range of press office enquiries/ incoming requests from media

Manage profile raising for key business stakeholders and where necessary work with PR agencies and external suppliers

Produce press releases, set up journalist briefings, draft articles and other materials as required

Keep on top of the news agenda, forward features and upcoming events that may require external communications support

Collaborate with JLL comms colleagues across business lines and regions to work on global campaigns

Develop an understanding of the business structure, business lines and corporate issues

Work with the public affairs team to align corporate response to policy issues

Support the wider team in times of issues and crisis management

Be responsible for reporting coverage and metrics to internal stakeholders

Plus uploading press releases onto the UK website



Social media:



Manage content creation and posting for JLL's corporate social media channels

Ensure that external communications activity is supported across social media channels

Use software provided to report on social metrics



Internal Communications:



Support in setting and delivering the internal comms strategy

Work with team to develop messaging for senior stakeholders and advising on channel strategy

This includes drafting materials for variety of audiences and channels including email, townhall, video and Sharepoint.

Ability to work autonomously and lead on internal newsletter with responsibility to source, create, edit and manage content

Collaborate with JLL comms colleagues across business lines and regions to work on global campaigns

Measure and shout about our successes, while also course correcting where necessary

Develop relationships with key stakeholders across the business

Provide support for ongoing employee engagement initiatives and ad hoc projects, as required

Core Areas of Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Five plus years experience of a role in communications

Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask

Can work under tight deadlines, paying close attention to detail

The aptitude to evaluate and prioritise requirements from the business

Good communication skills and the ability to work successfully as part of a team with internal teams and be a good ambassador for JLL with external stakeholders

Excellent writing, editing, research and proof reading skills

Proven experience in coordinating KPIs and identifying improvements Strong Microsoft Office, social media and web-software skills
