Being a Customer Service Advisor at Gear4music, you will play a crucial role in providing first-class service to our customers in the UK market.
Who you are
You will be passionate about providing our customers with a good experience when they buy from us. ideally you will have knowledge of musical instruments and/or products but this can be in anything from playing the bass in a rock band to being first violinist in an orchestra or being a part time DJ. You will be professional, friendly and reliable.
What you will do
You will be set up to provide brilliant customer service. This will include answering inbound calls (and a few emails) from customers and providing them with friendly and professional advice on a wide range of musical instruments & equipment.
Your day to day will be
Answering inbound calls (and a few emails) from customers
Providing customers with friendly and professional advice on a wide range of musical instruments and related products
Resolving challenging customer enquiries and escalating where appropriate
Becoming a valued member of our specialist Customer Service team!
What your skill set may look like

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Confidence and an exceptional telephone manner with the ability to build rapport with customers
Some experience of working in a customer service environment
Computer literate to a high standard, with good Microsoft Office skills
A good knowledge of musical instruments and equipment would be hugely beneficial
Reliable and committed to providing first class advice and service
Strong communication skills
Ideally have an interest and appreciation of music
Things to Consider
The work hours will be 9:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend working.
