Our client is a global asset manager with a wide range of successful funds, including a strong private markets offering. They are hiring a UK Institutional Sales Manager.
Key responsibilities include:
help to deliver the UK institutional sales strategy
develop new business opportunities with prospects and existing clients including DB and DC pension schemes, insurance companies and endowments
support and lead prospect pitches
develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders including consultant relations, product specialists and investment teams
represent the firm at conferences/events and maintain a strong knowledge of key market trends/developments
The successful candidate will be a self-starter, they will possess proven institutional sales experience, strong relationships in the UK institutional market, the ability to identify and close new business opportunities, good investment knowledge, ideally including fixed income and private markets and excellent verbal communication and presenting skills.
