What is the opportunity?

Reporting to UK Loans Head of Loans Pricing & Decisioning, this is an important role crafted to champion data driven pricing, front-end decisioning and portfolio management across Unsecured Personal Loan Lending.

In this role you will -

  • Devise the UK Loans analytical roadmap and strategy. Identify key growth and optimisation opportunities and design, lead and deliver cross-functional projects using advanced data modelling and analysis techniques to inform strategic decisioning and drive commercial success.
  • Take ownership of the design and delivery of advanced modelling, analytical solutions and methodologies
  • Be responsible for methodology refinements, process and outputs of account level profitability
  • Support the delivery of insights, reporting on UK Loans performance and understanding the current and upcoming business requirements, concerns and stresses.
  • Connect with teams across the wider business, the Partnerships as well as external providers and develop coordinated productive working relationships.
What will make you stand out?
  • A credible Financial Services professional with 5+ years at lead analyst / management level (line management and influencing responsibility), developing and being responsible for the delivery of pricing, front-end decisioning and portfolio management strategies.
  • Experienced in the field of data analytics including data mining techniques, predictive analytics and data management, with proven experience of successfully leading, managing and developing an agile analytics team.
  • Ability to find opportunities and build a compelling vision to win support for new ideas from both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborative style with the ability to challenge constructively, influencing and persuading team members and partners. Proven interpersonal relationship building to develop productive working relationships with key collaborators.
  • Support, understand and motivate the team in applying innovative ways and using diverse techniques in analysing and exploiting the power of data.
Essential Qualifications

Relevant academic qualifications (or equivalent experience) in quantitative subject (mathematics, physics, statistics, economics)
