Contract: Full-Time Hours / Permanent

Salary: \xc2\xa340,000 circa & Bonus Scheme

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Master Data, Analytics and Reporting team for a reporting and Analytics Manager to join our Transaction Shared Service (TSS) centre located at our Waterside Head Office in Blackburn!

In this role, you will be responsible for managing, developing and mentoring one direct report, ensuring the daily / weekly / monthly transactional processing reporting and analytical output activities across the TSS department are completed within the agreed SLA\'s and will provide essential support to the finance department on our business\' journey of continuous improvement and growth.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver high quality and insightful monthly financial reports and dashboards that analyse the performance of key business functions such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Cash and Bank including detailed analytical commentary to agreed deadlines and timetables
  • Establish and deliver a consistent approach to measuring metrics / KPIs across the Financial Transactional processes to measure team efficiency
  • Extract data from Finance systems (ideally SAP) and be able to join data together from different sources to Examine, interpret and report results of analytical initiatives to key stakeholders
  • Preparing high quality and insightful service review reporting packs on a monthly basis
  • Act as a support to and liaise with senior managers within the Transactional Support services senior team but also challenge, prioritise and balance reporting requirements where appropriate when requested to provide ad hoc analysis and reports with the support of HoF Data, Analytics and Reporting
  • Ensuring quality report implementations by developing, documenting, utilising and enforcing the use of reporting procedures that meet objectives and business goals
  • Manage, coach and develop team
  • Create strong relationships with other members of the Finance team and business stakeholders at all levels

Candidate Requirements
  • Working knowledge of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple various sources
  • Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and delegation skills
  • Detailed oriented and process focused
  • Gain working level knowledge and understanding of the operating environment (e.g., processing environment, applications, software and hardware) across Global Operations
  • Strong Reporting & Analytics skillset with previous experience managing direct reports
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • High level competence with Microsoft office software such as Excel, Power BI and MS Word
  • Able to work closely with and build excellent relationships with key stakeholders
  • Knowledge of SAP desirable but not essential
  • Working within a Shared Services environment (desirable)
  • AAT qualified or CIMA / ACCA Finalist (desirable)
