Job Description
:
You will be responsible for the accounting and financial reporting for our UK and export business unit with over $40M in revenue per annum and a manufacturing location.
Tasks
--------------
Accounting for the business unit, including month-end closing and reporting.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------Budgeting, planning and forecasting.
----------------------------------------Commissions accrual and processing.
---------------------------------------Employee expenses review.
-----------------------------Payment runs review.
------------------------VAT and other statutory filings.
------------------------------------Stock analysis, including obsolescence.
-------------------------------------------Balance Sheet and banks reconciliations.
--------------------------------------------Assistance with audits of the business unit.
------------------------------------------------Position Requirements:
--------------------------
Essential
:Accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW).
-------------------------------------------------Post qualification experience in a Finance/Accounting role.
---------------------------------------------------------------Results focused, ability to work effectively with other departments, attention to detail and ability to improve processes.
