to join our UK finance team for a 12-month maternity cover. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong foundational knowledge of core finance ledgers and a collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and deliver accurate monthly management accounts with variance analysis and commentary
Perform control account reconciliations to ensure financial data integrity
Manage customer credit control, including payment processing and account reconciliation
Oversee accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate invoice and payment handling
Maintain daily cash management and complete bank reconciliations
Support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly departmental reporting
Monitor and improve standard costing and margin analysis with operational teams
Contribute to continuous improvement and ensure compliance with internal controls
Essential Skills & Experience:
Strong knowledge of core finance ledgers and transactional accounting
Experience in a similar role
Proficient in ERP systems; Oracle NetSuite experience is highly desirable
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data modelling)
Part/fully qualified
Detail-oriented, analytical, and a confident communicator
Able to work independently and collaboratively
