Role: UK Rail Support Coordinator
Location: Crewe
As a member of our team working as a UK Rail Support Coordinator team you will ensure the smooth and efficient running of the rail operations at Freightliner by providing essential administrative support including the monitoring of fleet vehicles and other transport requirements whilst managing day-to-day tasks.
You don't necessarily need rail experience, but you do need to demonstrate how your transferrable skills meet the following:Excellent communication skills enabling you and the team around you to work safely and effectively. Effective organisational and time management skills with the ability to work autonomously and to meet deadlines The ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities and projects efficiently Demonstrable experience of working in a fast-paced environment, with high attention to detail with a high level of accuracy Proficient IT user with strong excel skills to effectively analyse and present data

What your key responsibilities will be:Produce weekly reports for the Exec team detailing lease vehicles, short term hires, fuel cards and taxi reviews Use of procurement systems to raise Purchase Orders for all stores items e.g. PPE. Use of supplier portals to place orders. Monitoring and reporting of vehicle tracking systems, ensuring that vehicles are off-hired and collected promptly whilst identifying any ad hoc hire requests Ensure goods are receipted and invoices are correct. Co-ordinate road transport fleet vehicles on a day-to-day basis, maintaining accurate records. Ensuring that fuel cards are kept up to date and renewed accordingly. Assist in the ordering and cancelling of fuel cards as and where required. Provide cover for Rail Systems IT Co-ordinator, ensuring that documents are uploaded to i-pads and European Train Driving licence process is up to date. Manage the application process for Freight Duty cards. Arrange service requirements for rail depots Assisting with Crewe office administration Assist with booking hotels and travel as required. Provide Administration support to the UK Rail Support Manager.
