Description:
As cover for a maternity leave we're currently looking for a Supply Chain Planner for the UK Logistics Center site in Daventry.
This is a fulltime (37.5 hours per week) and hybrid role (3 days per week onsite).
The initial assignment duration is 12 months.
The Supply Chain Planner role is expected to support the Global Planning and Logistics function and the planning liaisons to ensure that key site level activities that require support from the cross functional teams are executed in line with the Business Unit and regional expectations.
The role is expected to work heavily with different teams to drive execution for escalations within the region. The role will also play a central role for various planning activities that have high level of dependency on the site teams.
These are the responsibilities of the role beyond what is stated in the GPP:
Manage material planning interface with the UK Logistics Center Operations.
Managing Material Planning related aftermarket Kitting / Production Scheduling processes
Supplier Returns Coordinate the execution of supplier returns by working with Supply Chain Services and the site.
Customer Returns Engage with customers/sales in managing returns from customers within the EMEA region
Advanced Shipping Notification Creation / Modification Coordinate the work with the site in ensuring seamless receipt of product to the site
Engagement with Inbound Operations Coordination and engagement with the site to resolve errors and keeping to a low cycle time in the closed loop process.
Internal Escalation Support with Operational / Transportation Teams
Site Coordination (Hazmat, Receiving prioritization.) Coordinating with operations to drive effective prioritization across key operational activities.
The role will support inventory optimization activities across the site.

To plan and maintain daily Supply Chain operations in one or more functional areas such as
materials, production, inventory, logistics, customer service, demand management or order
fulfillment.
Ensures internal and external customers' expectations and requirements are met.

Work closely with stakeholders - internal and/or external to develop short term tactical

Part Change Control Management - Evaluates and implements engineering change request
(obsolescence, supersessions, new part release, etc.) to meet customer delivery requirements while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
Plan for Every Part (PFEP) - Uses PFEP in planning, designing, and management of systems and processes within a facility to ensure delivery of right part at the right time in the right quantity to the right place, which in turn guarantees smooth operations; applies PFEP principles on the end to end supply chain with particular attention to the relationships between master data management, materials planning parameters, engineered material flows, transport management, and warehouse management.
Master Supply Scheduling - Establishes and maintains a valid Master Production Schedule for a family of products, which meets customer s expectations and requirements while maximizing operational efficiency; validates procurement scheduling, production scheduling, and replenishment planning are aligned to manufacturing and assembly assets for conversion.
Material Planning - Uses advanced tools (e.g. Advanced Planning Command Centre, Business Intelligence (BI) Dashboards etc.) to take a decision related to parts availability, inventory optimization and root cause analysis.
Materials KPI Management - Operates in relation to recent or historical outputs as compared to expectations of the organization to determine next steps to drive improvement; assesses gaps to the supply chain performance against the expectation of achieving target deliverables; interprets KPIs to understand end-customer impact; strategically balances trade-offs to influence one KPI while minimizing the impact to others.

B.S or B.A in applicable field
Experience:
