Job Description


UK Corporate Treasury is looking to recruit an experienced Regulatory Liquidity Subject Matter Expert to support the team in achieving compliance with Regulatory Requirements and expectations, specifically designing, implementation and maintenance of UK liquidity reporting for UK entities (CGML, CUKL and UK branches).

The role will directly support the CGML and CBNA London/CUKL Treasury leads while working closely with EMEA Head of Liquidity in ensuring adherence to local regulatory liquidity requirements. The position sits within the UK Corporate Treasury and is based in London, and entails a significant amount of interaction with EMEA Head of Liquidity, country Treasury, Finance, Businesses and senior management.

Responsibilities:

  • Central point of contact for any queries related to regulatory compliance and regulatory treatment of various products and business structures.
  • Support the continuous review, development and maintenance of current processes to identify improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of regulatory compliance processes.
  • Provide oversight to extended Corporate Treasury teams in Budapest to ensure effective liquidity reporting governance, controls and processes are in place.
  • Interpret the requirements and develop gap analyses (data, processes or controls), develop compliance strategy for any existing and new regulatory requirements.
  • Analyse data quality, investigate data quality issues and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Leading / supporting any new regulatory projects and initiatives. Timely escalation of risks and issues related to the project.
  • Extensive collaborations with the extended Treasury and Reporting teams in Hungary.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Finance or Accounting or related field preferred,
  • Relevant years of experience in Finance
  • Must have advanced analytical skills but also the ability to see the big picture
  • Excellent communication skills are imperative i.e. ability to make complex subjects easily digestible for senior management
  • Exercises proven Power Point and Excel skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Ability to interact with all levels of management Must be a team player
Education:
  • Bachelors degree, potentially Masters degree
