We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 4-5 days per week.

What you'll be doing:



Airframe Engineering is split into four disciplines, Aerodynamics, Design, Materials and Structural.

Aerodynamics discipline delivers aerodynamic solutions that maintain, develop and apply aerodynamic capability to our aircraft programmes. Design Engineering Discipline is responsible for producing the integrated airframe design definition and physical product design dataset to enable product manufacture, through-life support, qualification, and certification. Materials Engineering Discipline is responsible for materials and process technical support, capability for materials development and manufacturing activities. Structures Engineering discipline is responsible for the definition of initial airframe structural and then to ensure the on-going structural integrity of BAE Systems Air products.

Qualification requirements



As a minimum requirement you'll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor's or Master's degree Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or Maths.
