Position Summary:
Ryan Specialty is a leading international specialty insurance firm which offers wholesale brokerage services, delegated underwriting expertise in the form of binding authorities, programs and highly specialised managing general underwriting companies, and other services designed specifically for brokers, agents and insurers.



Ryan Specialty Service Centre Limited, London, is our internal broker tasked with premium and claims processing for policies issued by Ryan Specialty MGU's.

We are seeking to recruit an Underwriting Operations Technician to join our expanding team. We are keen to find someone who is immediately available/available at short notice.

What will your job entail?
Responsibilities which will evolve over time include:Review, reconcile and distribute Written bordereau for various Ryan Specialty MGU's / Coverholders Ensure all premiums and return premiums are attributable to the correct parties and year of account Liaising with Ryan Specialty 's Underwriting Assistants to verify and obtain information where necessary Produce processing bordereaux for various Ryan Specialty Coverholders Dealing with and responding to all Velonetic/Xchanging queries in a timely manner Premium and Return Premium processing to Lloyd's of London (via XIS) when necessary Raise appropriate documentation accurately in accordance with current Lloyd's Market practices via our Brokasure system Cash Allocations of Client funds against processed transactions Ensure all premiums and other allocations are attributable to the correct parties and year of account Manage and maintain the Queries tracker with all bordereau and premium related issues File, manage and maintain all documentation and data entry necessary

Skills and Attributes:Good mathematic and administrative skills Accurate and numerate Computer skills - strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint) Able to communicate effectively with others, both verbally and in writing Motivational skills, team worker as well as working on own initiative Ability to manage time, meet deadlines and prioritise
