We are looking for an experienced, outgoing, enthusiastic and confident individual with a passion for early years to join our team.
Supervising children and ensuring a safe environment at all times.
Collaborating with staff to plan, implement, and assess a variety of engaging activities that cater to each child's developmental stage.
Addressing the individual needs of each child, maintaining accurate records, and regularly communicating with parents or carers at the end of each day.
Exhibiting a positive attitude in a calm and confident manner.
Duties
Ensure that all unit team members comply with nursery policies and procedures.
Attend and actively participate in all staff meetings.
Produce monthly and daily activity sheets.
Collaborate with the Manager to induct new staff members.
Ensure that equipment and materials in the room are well maintained.
Contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the nursery.
Uphold confidentiality at all times.
Experience
NVQ level 3 in Early Years Education and Childcare (or equivalent qualification)
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build a good rapport with children, parents and colleagues
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to handle sensitive issues tactfully.
