Job Summary
We are seeking a Unit Operator to join our team at Summerleaze Pet Crematorium
Duties
The main role of the position is the cremation of pets including the taking of paw prints and fur clippings if requested prior to cremation
The cremulating of ashes and then the boxing up of those ashes into the requested vessels ready for returning to pets owners The inputting of pet details onto the company database and the printing off of box labels and certificates of cremation. Van driving collecting pets and clinical waste from Veterinary Practices and completely Duty of Care notes via the use of written paperwork and also the use of pc tablet Getting stock ready for delivery to vets and stocking Boxing Up room with vessels and boxes General cleaning duties of the workplace and machinery checks I involving the completion of records There is a 4 shift pattern 0300-1200 including the opening of the crematorium and starting up of the machines 0500-1400 0700-1600 0930-1830 including the shutting down of the machines and the crematorium locking up procedure
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From 14.05 per hour
Expected hours: 45 per week
Work Location: In person
