Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and inspiring Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Plan and prepare lessons under the guidance of senior staff and subject leads
• Lead practical activities including instrumental workshops, vocal groups, and performances
• Support students in developing their musical abilities and appreciation of different genres
• Contribute to school events, concerts, and the wider creative arts programme
• Participate in department meetings, training, and whole-school initiatives

Requirements:

• A strong academic background in Music (degree or equivalent)
• Excellent practical musicianship and theoretical knowledge
• A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring young people
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• A proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach
• Previous experience working with young people in an educational or musical setting is desirable
