We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and well-being of children in our care.

Duties

Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning and development. Provide high-quality care and support to children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to track their development. Work collaboratively with the nursery team to create an inclusive environment that meets the diverse needs of all children. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting, adhering to health and safety regulations. Support the management team in implementing policies and procedures effectively.

Experience

Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable. Strong management and leadership skills to guide less experienced staff when necessary. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. A valid driving licence is advantageous for potential off-site activities or events. A passion for childcare and a commitment to fostering children's learning through play-based approaches.
