Job Title: Unqualified Teacher (Cover Supervisor) - Day-to-Day & Long-Term Roles
Location: Brighton & Surrounding Areas
Availability: Part-Time & Full-Time (Minimum 3 Days per Week)
Are you looking to gain hands-on experience in secondary schools? We're seeking confident, motivated individuals to work as Cover Supervisors across Brighton and nearby areas. Whether you're looking for flexible daily work or a longer-term placement, this is a great opportunity to step into a classroom role without needing formal teaching qualifications.
What You'll Be Doing (Day-to-Day Responsibilities):
Deliver pre-set lessons in the absence of the class teacher Maintain a focused and productive classroom environment Ensure pupils stay on task and follow the lesson plan Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies Report back to teachers on student behaviour and progress Cover a variety of subjects at KS3 and KS4 level
What We're Looking For:
Experience working with young people (coaching, tutoring, mentoring, or similar) Confidence to manage a classroom and lead learning A DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
This is a flexible role ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or professionals with relevant experience looking to step into education. Positions available on both a short-term and long-term basis.
