We are working with several friendly and supportive primary schools across Nottingham that are seeking enthusiastic Unqualified Teaching Assistants to provide day-to-day and longer-term cover from after the October half-term break.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work flexibly across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, supporting pupils in a variety of settings. Your role will vary depending on each school's needs - from helping individual pupils with their learning to supporting small groups or assisting the class teacher during whole-class activities. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone considering a future in teaching or simply passionate about working with children in education.

Responsibilities

Provide classroom support under the direction of the class teacher Support pupils one-to-one or in small groups to enhance learning outcomes Assist with daily classroom routines and help maintain positive behaviour Contribute to creating a safe, engaging and inclusive environment Adapt quickly to different schools, classes and age groups

Requirements

A genuine interest in working with children within a primary school setting A flexible, reliable and proactive approach Strong communication and teamwork skills Previous experience in a school or childcare setting is helpful but not essential Willingness to travel to different local schools on a supply basis
