Job Title: Sales Engineer (Repairs)

Job Purpose
The Sales Engineer (Repairs) is responsible for managing and responding to repair-related sales
enquiries, developing bespoke repair solutions, and supporting the complete sales process for
repair and modernisation projects. The role bridges the gap between technical requirements
and customer needs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions and maintaining
KLEEMANN UK Group's standards of service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to sales enquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner.
Assess and prioritise sales opportunities, arranging site surveys where required.
Engage with clients to define the scope of work and propose suitable technical
solutions.
Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations for specialist components and services.
Prepare and issue customer quotations in coordination with internal departments.
Manage revisions to quotations and support the transition from proposal to confirmed
order.
Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and order
fulfilment.
Maintain accurate records of sales activity, enquiries, and quotations using internal
tools.
Provide general support to the wider Sales Department as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
Proven experience in a sales or technical sales environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams).
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Desirable:
Experience within the lift industry.
Understanding of repair and modernisation processes or technical work packages.
