Vale Bridgecraft is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Upholstery Cutting Operative to join our friendly and experienced production team. We have been manufacturing high-quality upholstered furniture for many years and take pride in our craftsmanship and teamwork.

The Role:

You will work within our upholstery cutting department, operating a computer-controlled cutting machine and marking up cut fabrics ready for sewing. This is a hands-on role that plays a vital part in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our finished products.

Key Responsibilities:

Operating a computerised fabric cutting machine Accurately marking and preparing cut fabric for the sewing department Ensuring efficient use of materials and minimising waste Maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality Working closely with other members of the production team

Skills & Experience:

Good attention to detail is essential Experience within furniture manufacturing or upholstery is preferred, but not essential as training can be provided Ability to work methodically and follow instructions A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.50-17.95 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 39 per week
