An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced pharmacist to play a pivotal role in our service for patients admitted to the Emergency Department (ED) at Whittington Health NHS trust.
The post holder will be responsible for providing a high quality clinical pharmacy service to the Emergency and Integrated Care divison and input into the growing Urgent and Emergency Care agenda
The post holder will work closely both with our pharmacy team and the multidisciplinary emergency department team to:
Provide and further develop high value clinical pharmacy services for patients admitted to the ED.
Contribute to the ED & Acute Medicine MDT through multiple training sessions,
Input into clinical guidelines, PGD development and service improvement work.
Contribute pharmacy leadership to the Pharmacy Emergency and Integrated Medicine team by supporting junior staff during rotations
Work across the hospital-community interface to improve medicines management on transfer of care and improve patient safety.
