We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The role involves providing personalised care and assistance to an individual in his care home. You will be working with Once Client, supporting daily rehab support, goals and direction given by a MDT team in place.

Duties

Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility Provide emotional support and companionship to clients Maintain accurate records of care provided Facilitate social activities and encourage independence where possible Drive clients to appointments or outings, ensuring their safety and comfort Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals Ensure a safe and clean environment in line with health and safety regulations

Experience

Previous experience working in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates Knowledge of care plans and personal care procedures is desirable Good IT skills for documentation purposes Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written Valid driving licence is preferred to support client transportation needs Ability to work flexibly, demonstrating patience, empathy, and professionalism at all times
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.95-13.95 per hour

Expected hours: 21 per week
