SEN Tutor: Change Lives Through Learning

We are looking for talented teachers to help children with special educational needs. HRP Education needs people who care about making learning work for every child, especially those who find school challenging.

What you'll be doing

Managing your own caseload of students Arranging sessions directly with families and schools Teaching in different locations - homes, schools or neutral venues Setting your own schedule that works for you and your students Teaching in a way that clicks with each child Building trust and confidence in young people aged 3-18 Keeping track of how they're doing and changing your approach when needed Working with parents and teachers to get the best results Keeping good notes on progress
What we need from you

Must have:

At least 2 years teaching or tutoring experience Enhanced DBS on the update service Your own car and driving licence Higher education qualification Good people skills Ability to adapt your teaching style Strong commitment to child safety A positive, can-do attitude
Nice to have:

QTS Experience with SEN students Higher level qualifications
The basics

Work full-time, part-time or freelance Face-to-face tutoring in various locations You manage your own diary and travel arrangements Flexible hours, Monday-Friday (min 10 hours) Coventry area Casual dress code Bonus scheme Company pension
