An exciting opportunity for a Northern Sales Manager has arisen within the Urology and Critical Care Business Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the Urology strategy and leading a team of sales and clinical specialist to achieve budgeted expectations for the business whilst simultaneously supporting external stakeholders in implementing urological solutions for improved patient outcomes and practice efficiencies. This field-based role covers the Northern part of the country with 4 days in the field and some overnight stays.

Main responsibilities will include:

Responsibility for Urology UK annual budget (revenue, GP and margin)
Supporting the development and execution of the UK sales strategy for our differentiating product portfolio to drive adoption in primary and secondary care settings
Direct management and leadership of sales and clinical specialist team
Supporting the organisation and coordination of UK based professional education workshops
Driving the adoption of business technologies, tools and initiatives to improve performance effectiveness throughout the field team
Control of operating expenditure
Forecasting, budgeting and target setting
Conduction of regular business reviews with sales people and provision of coaching & feedback to optimise ongoing performance
Building close working relationships with range of contacts, including key opinion leaders, societies and educational bodies within the industry and UK and European work colleagues
Supporting the Urology Business Development Manager in developing customer partnerships
Maintaining a high level of technical competence within the field of Urology and anticipation of future clinical and business trends and opportunities
Collaboration with Market Access team to identify and develop growth opportunities.
About you:

Educated to degree level; a Master's qualification is advantageous
Significant experience in the medical device industry, with sales management and leadership experience
In-depth understanding of the UK healthcare system and procurement landscape
Experience with CRM systems and tools, with a strong understanding of customer data management
Proficiency in budgeting, spend control, and interpreting financial data to support strategic decision-making
Demonstrated success in building strong customer relationships across a range of healthcare environments
Proven ability to engage with decision-makers and communicate complex value propositions clearly and effectively
