Description

We are seeking an experienced US Tax Senior to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in US tax laws and regulations, tax planning, compliance and client management. As a Tax Senior, you will work on a portfolio of US clients and be involved in tax projects, provide strategic tax advice, be involved in compliance processes, and foster strong client relationships.###

Key Responsibilities

Work on a portfolio of US clients: be involved all aspects of the tax compliance and wider relationship management. Prepare and review US tax returns. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing proactive tax advice and addressing their needs in a timely and professional manner. Support Manager and Director in providing market-leading advice to US connected clients in the UK. Ability to manage workload to ensure timely completion of deliverables. Provide technical guidance and training to more junior staff. Work collaboratively with the wider tax team.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

US Enrolled Agent (EA) is not essential but preferred. Previous experience in US tax compliance and advisory services in partnerships and corporate tax, including PFIC analysis, Forms 1065, 1120, 5472 and 8865 preferred but not required in all areas. UK tax technical knowledge is preferred but not required. In-depth knowledge of US compliance requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve tax issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members at all levels.
