Role Overview
As a
Used Equipment Territory Manager
, you will be responsible for driving sales of pre-owned JCB machinery and related equipment. This role requires a proactive, customer-focused individual who can build strong relationships, identify opportunities, and deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Generate leads and actively pursue opportunities for used equipment sales.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
Negotiate pricing and terms to achieve profitable sales while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Inventory Management
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of available stock and incoming equipment.
Assist in appraising trade-ins and sourcing quality used machinery.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
Customer Service
Provide expert advice on machine specifications, applications, and financing options.
Ensure a smooth buying process from initial inquiry to delivery and after-sales support.
Skills & Experience
Proven track record in equipment sales (construction or industrial sectors preferred).
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good understanding of machinery applications and technical specifications.
IT literacy (CRM systems, Microsoft Office).
