About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced

Utilities Groundworker

to join our growing team. The successful candidate will work on a variety of utility and civil engineering projects, ensuring that all works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out excavation, ducting, and reinstatement works for utility installations (water, gas, electric, telecoms, or multi-utility). Operate plant and machinery safely and in line with company procedures. Lay pipes, ducts, and cables according to design specifications. Ensure all health, safety, and environmental standards are maintained on site. Work effectively as part of a team to meet project deadlines. Maintain good communication with site supervisors and utility coordinators.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Groundworker within the utilities or civil engineering sector. Valid CSCS card (Essential). EUSR Ticket (Preferred) NRSWA (Streetworks) ticket (Preferred). CPCS / NPORS plant tickets (Essential). Full UK driving licence (Preferred). Strong work ethic and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
