Job Description

Key Purpose of Role:



To conduct energy audits for clients to save money and reduce their impact on the environment. This is achieved initially by examining the client's energy bill, to determine their overall energy usage and recover any overcharges.

To liaise with a team of third party professionals in order to analyse results and prepare technical reports for the client.

To prepare reports to be presented to clients showing audit outcomes and to advise on changes and improvements which can be made to improve efficiency.

Principal Responsibilities



The Auditor is accountable for analysing client spend and usage from utility data going back 6 years to identify any overspend and work with suppliers to obtain rebates by:

Requesting data from suppliers Analysing and accurately detailing anomalies Generating reports and presenting findings to management Manage internal inter-dependencies to ensure tasks are promptly completed Liaising with suppliers to obtain rebates on behalf of the client Reporting findings to the client Securing identified recoveries from suppliers for clients Maintaining awareness of current industry trends, technology, and developments. Handling additional duties and special projects to ensure the business is operating efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with all current regulations Organised with strong analytical skills Ability to work without supervision - being proactive and using own initiative High level of efficiency, accuracy, integrity and attention to detail Bringing process strengths and weaknesses to the attention of management and providing advice and recommendations to make improvements

Person Specification



Essential Skills & Experience (key competencies)

Experience



At least 4/5 years experience in similar senior role

Accurate, detail oriented and able to handle a varied workload in a timely manner to meet the changing priorities of the business.

Skills



Be meticulous with data and hungry for unlocking revenue.

Have the ability to graph consumption data and identify trends in consumption.

Have the confidence to manage supplier relationships until a rebate is recovered.

Take full responsibility for numerous ongoing audit projects.

Have a confident telephone manner.

Have an understanding of the importance of maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships.

Be commercially astute.

Be technologically adept.

Be a competent user of MS Excel.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 30,000.00 per year
