Utility Worker Van Driver And Fss Operator Farming

Job Description
As a Utility Team Member based at our Coldstream site, you will have a varied dual role. You will spend part of the year as a 3.5-Tonne Van Driver where you will deliver a range of agricultural products to a number of local farms and Agrii depots and you will spend the remainder of the year as a Farm-Saved Seed (FSS) Operator, working with a range farmers and colleagues within our seed function.
In this role you will:
As an FSS Operative
- you will travel to a variety of farms on a daily basis and help our FSS operators process, clean and manage seed via our mobile machinery systems.As a Van Driver
- you will deliver agricultural products to a range of farms, sites and depots in and around the local area. This role will alco come with ad-hoc depot related responsibilities that can include loading, unloading, general warehouse related work, maintenance and more.What You'll Bring:
A full UK Category B Driving Licence. Experience driving vans and working within the farming sector (not essential). Strong customer service skills and a professional approach. An interest in the farming sector. Basic understanding of machinery and mechanical skills. ADR, forklift and other licences are beneficial, but training will be provided.
What We Offer:
A full-time, permanent role with paid overtime after 40 hours. A varied and rewarding position within a busy, seasonal business. Training and development, including progression to Class 1 or Class 2 HGV driving if required.
Pay for this role will be DOE. This role will come with paid overtime.
